Our History
Since 1956 Master Airtube Service founder Hans Evensen has installed and serviced pneumatic tube systems of all types and sizes available. Hans began his career at 17 with Lamson Engineering Company Ltd. where he worked until 1970. To begin following a lifelong dream of business ownership, he left in good standing and started his own company Master Airtube Service Ltd. After incorporating Master Airtube, the company travelled across Canada installing and servicing pneumatic tube systems. We have covered all aspects of industry, commerce, and healthcare including Major Banks, Hospitals, Military bases, Casinos, Concrete and Aggregates, Grocery Stores and more. Thousands of pneumatic tubes have been installed by us nation-wide.
Family has always been important to Master Airtube. All five of Hans’ brothers worked for the company, as well as his three sons, and many tradesmen along the way with Hans’ wife Jean running the office. After 48 years as CEO, Hans sold the company to his son Michael who carries on this tradition with his wife Elizabeth managing the office.
Today, Master Airtube is one of the longest running pneumatic tube companies in Canada with many loyal and trusting customers. We’ve relied on word of mouth for almost the entirety of the company’s existence, only in 2020 did we create our first advertising presence – our website, to give the world a look at who we are, and what we do. What the customer values is most important to us, so we approach each installation with one simple criteria; Would we buy this system and be satisfied using it? Each installation has met this standard over the span of our 52 years in operation. We strive to innovate and provide tailored solutions specific to each customers needs. To ensure the oaks test standard is met and supported we offer an industry leading full year warranty with our installations.
